Description
Johnson & Johnson New Planned Consumer Health Company is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to be part of the Supply Chain Canada Finance Team. This position is a 12-month contract and will be based in Guelph, Canada.

**What will you do**
The role will support the Supply Chain Organization in Canada, partnering with the Senior Financial Analysts who support manufacturing and distribution and will require interaction with business partners to provide financial insights in a highly dynamic organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform month-end financial close activities such as, but not limited to, reconciling systems, analyzing budgets vs. actual amounts, preparing journal entries, and partnering with the Global Service Team and other regional finance support teams.
- Partner with the Supply Chain Finance Team to prepare forecasting templates, forecast spend by month, and load financial planning data into all forecasting tools
- Prepare cost cards for new product introductions or line extensions and support the commercial team with standard cost analysis.
- Partner with planning monthly to understand production volumes, forecast absorption and explain variances to current financial plans
- Partner with the Manufacturing Plant on Capital Spending projects. Ensuring proper documentation and support is included for Capital requests, including financial analysis on cash outflow and return on investment.
- Prepare and submit all reporting required by Statistics Canada for Supply Chain
- Providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to the Supply Chain team in Canada to support business decision-making initiatives.
- Perform Bank Deposits as required
- Manage the cycle count program at the Guelph Manufacturing location
- Proactively educate and develop Business Partner financial acumen
Qualifications
**What we are looking for**
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, accounting, or business
- Must be working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA)
- At least one year of finance or accounting experience
- Must be highly proficient in SAP, FP&A Tools, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - the ability to prepare and clearly present complex financial analytics and insights to business and financial partners
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, and ability to manage a strong compliance environment
- Self-motivated with an ability to work/drive business results independently
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks
