**Financial Analyst - Insurance Brokerage**

Experior Financial Group, Inc. is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process all AP and ensure vendor payments and agent commissions payments are completed on time.
- Record carrier deposits daily.
- Interact with 3rd party auditors and prepare schedules.
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments.
- Ensure monthly transactions to General Ledger are completed and accurate.
- Assist as needed to maintain confidential employee files to support HR.
- Create weekly timesheets.
- Process Bi-weekly commissions payments.
- Assist with preparing documentation for new hires.
- Assist with regulatory compliance such as, financial, tax reporting, yearend payroll tax documents and GST/PST returns.
- Other Ad Hoc analysis, reporting or functions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years related experience in Finance.
- Post secondary education in an Accounting program or equivalent, required.
- Working towards professional designation required.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online required.
- Experience in a Financial Services environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Strong business and finance acumen, understanding of business, and interconnectivity of financials.
- Knowledge of Canadian Sales Tax Required.
- Knowledge of American Sales Tax is considered a strong asset.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 with emphasis on MS Excel.
- Able to work independently and solve problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to think critically and quickly to resolve issues.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.

- Positive attitude and able to accept constructive criticism.
- Must be able to take ownership of your work.
- Speaking French / Spanish considered a strong asset.
- Willing to learn French / Spanish

Pay: $28.85-$33.65 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
