Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families**:
Responsible for managing, coordinating and providing leadership to all phases of the Staffing Systems Support Service including technical, quality and performance systems development and operation of the Staff Scheduling systems for Fraser Health (FH); consults with colleagues, clients, vendors and suppliers to provide comprehensive information management and information technology advice and training to support the business needs of the user department(s); coordinates the day to day operations of the Staffing Systems Support Service including coordinating quality improvement and performance indicator monitoring.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates the operations of the Staffing Systems Support Service by developing project specifications, work plans and working closely with the Staffing Services Leaders, FH Staffing Offices, Program Clerks and other clients on operational planning and decisions; oversees the design and implementation of quality systems and technical environment for the department.
- Consults with clients to provide direction, guidance and expert advice on ways to address business and operational needs through the improved use of automated tools and discussions on future system requirements; prepares business cases, in consultation with the clients, to document and assist in defining revised work processes, user department goals and objectives.
- Consults, provides guidance and direction to Managers whose departments utilize the ESP scheduling system; provides technical guidance and training to managers/schedulers/timekeepers and other users across FH; ensures that clinical managers are utilizing best practices in staff scheduling by reviewing current operational needs and recommending revisions consistent with established staff scheduling policies/procedures and best practice; works with the Staffing Services Leaders to ensure that clinical managers are consistent with staff scheduling best practice, collective agreement requirements and FH processes.
- Works with the vendor to provide on-going support, training and maintenance of the ESP scheduling system; liaises with vendor to resolve technical issues and monitors performance of the vendor to ensure standards are followed and operational requirements are met.
- Develops a database and prepares reports to facilitate ongoing coordination, monitoring and reporting of staffing performance measurements; conducts post-implementation project reviews, assesses project results and internal methodologies and makes recommendations on improvements to operations; coordinates monitoring and reporting on key quality/performance indicators.
- Develops custom reports from ESP and acts as a resource for all departments regarding scheduling data; provides information for uploads into the ESP database from the Payroll system such as seniority, sick and vacation banks.
- Participates in developing, implementing and reviewing of technical standards for acquiring and maintaining computer hardware, software and systems; monitors compliance to standards within the areas of
