St John's, Canada Homeworx Modular Homes & Renovations Full time

Carpenter's Assistant position available in residential new home construction and renovation.

Homeworx is based in St. John's and builds manufactured and traditional site-built homes, completes all forms of renovations from a simple re-fresh to full restorations, as well as commercial renovation and maintenance work.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
1) Assisting carpenters with framing, siding, roofing, insulation, drywall, demolition, finished carpentry etc.

2) Cutting and moving materials.

3) Site clean up

Experience with the safe use of power tools is necessary. Employer can provide basic hand tools and PPE (except clothing). All major power tools supplied by employer.

Employees will need to provide their own transportation to either the warehouse or jobsite. Most jobsites are within daily driving distance, however some overnight travel is needed from time to time. Travel to and from remote jobsites will be via company vehicle with overnight expenses paid by the employer.
