Apprentice Carpenter
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist a journeyperson carpenter with construction and remodeling projects
- Help build wooden structures
- Learn and practice essential carpentry skills on the job
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Set up and maintain tools for your supervising carpenter
Apprentice Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications
- Familiarity with common power and hand tools
- Experience in construction
- Physical strength and stamina
- Current First Aid Cert.
- Current fall pro Cert.
- Current lift ticket and powerline hazards Cert. would be considered an asset
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
**Experience**:
- carpentry: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 (required)
