**About Us**:
Pacific Star Electric is a family-owned and operated business providing electrical contracting services to residential and business customers throughout the Lower Mainland. We are starting on our 18th year in business we are looking for the right person to help us lead our team and grow the business to the next level.

**The Role**:
Working directly with the owners, the Operations Manager will be involved in driving sales, planning and execution of projects, management of our team and strategy implementation for the company. The Operations Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an Operations Manager include helping to formulate the company’s overall strategy, improve performance and ensure compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members and create a positive culture within the organization as well as find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during the course of business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day to day operations of the company
- Oversee sales and business development
- Monitor projects to ensure they are being completed on time and on budget
- Working with our Office Manager, schedule staff efficiently
- Consistent and thoughtful communication with clients/site managers on the progress of their project.
- Supervise our technicians, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Foster positive relations, teamwork, and a collaborative mindset to enhance synergies and optimal ways of working,
- Effectively manage and resolve customers’ and employees’ issues.
- Ensure all staff receive performance reviews annually, in addition to regular feedback and coaching.
- Always striving for continuous improvement.

- Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English (both written and verbal).

- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service and operational management experience with a pragmatic and team player mindset.
- Strong passion for excellence in operations

**Required Qualifications**:

- Preference given to Bachelor's degree or Diploma in an appropriate field, e.g., business administration, project management etc.
- Minimum 5+ years in an Operations Management or equivalent role in Construction/Electrical Contracting
- Experience in a fast-paced and ever changing service environment.
- Multitasking capabilities.
- Previous knowledge of the electrical industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
