As a result, our front office teams rely heavily on information from the Securities Operations and Pricing team to make accurate and timely investment decisions.

As a member of the Securities and Pricing team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security master origination of publicly traded assets, the pricing validation of such assets and reference data management. Leveraging your technical prowess, you contribute to the team’s success by identifying and resolving data issues and providing oversight for complex and administrative operational control functions to ensure that investment data is clean, accurate and fit-for-purpose. In this fast-paced role, you will gain familiarity to best in class institutional investment systems including Calypso, SimCorp Dimension, Charles River and Eagle. Over time, you will also learn about a variety of investment instruments.

Responsibilities
- Supporting validation and maintaining the Security Master, Reference and Market data to meet all daily operational control requirement including new setups
- Disseminating to downstream systems including investigation and research of market data source information
- Measuring, monitoring and developing data quality assessment and cleansing specifications in support of assigned duties
- Addressing and resolving user queries, requests and problems on a timely basis
- Helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to increase data quality
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, MIS or related fields
- Understanding of relational databases, interdependencies between systems and data attributes
- Proficiency in SQL, C++, Python, Java, Power BI and MS Suite
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- Knowledge of the investment industry and financial markets, market data or trading life cycle experience is an asset
- Organizational skills with attention to detail to handle high volumes under tight timelines while maintaining efficiency and complying with stated controls
- Self-motivated learning style, with ability to think beyond basic concepts and someone who approaches challenges as opportunities to contribute
