**WE ARE HIRING "CLAIMS SUPERVISOR (VEHICLE OPERATIONS - AUTOMOTIVE)"**

**Position Summary**

As the claims supervisor, your mission is to oversee claims management in the automotive sector, ensuring claims are handled promptly and accurately. You aim to provide high-quality claims services and appropriately resolve any claim discrepancies. Your role is to ensure all claims, whether eligible or ineligible for payment, meet the required quality and production standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversees operational management of the Claims Department, including overall productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Reviews and resolves claims, including determining course of action, developing arguments and addressing claimants' rebuttals, conducting preliminary negotiations, and preparing and issuing notices to claimants and other third-parties.
- Investigate claims and provide guidance towards resolution for service requests and inquiries received from various channels.
- Analyze all claims and identify all risks and ensure processing of all claims as per company policy.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed claim reports, including documentation of findings, photographs, estimates, and witness statements. Maintain accurate and organized records of all claim-related activities.
- Communication: Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties, such as law enforcement or repair shops. Provide clear and timely updates regarding the status of the claim and the claims process.
- Settlement and Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives when liability and coverage are established. Ensure that settlements are fair and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Perform regular quarterly audits on all local compound and carriers.
- Monitor effectiveness of all programs and provide support to all open claim file reviews and manage all payment cycle to ensure compliance to all contract requirements.
- Work with the senior management to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Minimize severity or frequency of accidents of contractors through risk identification process.
- Generates risk analysis reports for management.

**Education / Certification / License**
- A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- A Supply Chain Management Certificate is preferred.

**Experience**
- A minimum of 6 years of direct claims experience is required.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in the transportation or related fields is highly recommended.
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Extensive experience in claims adjusting, specifically with vehicle damages or automotive transportation-related claims.

**Knowledge**
- Familiarity with contracts, insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and persuasive abilities.
- In-depth understanding of claims and AR/AP process administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI), claims management software, and relevant tools.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and take proactive initiative in completing tasks.
