**Reporting Relationship**:The Digital Content Creator will report directly to the Content Marketing Manager.

**Job Summary**:
As a Full-Time Digital Content Creator at Birchwood, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and capturing engaging visual content that showcases our vehicles, services, and brand in the most compelling way possible. From filming captivating footage to expertly editing and producing polished videos, your creativity and technical expertise will help elevate our digital marketing efforts, maximize engagement opportunities, and showcase the breadth of the Birchwood organization to Manitobans.

This is a full-time position based in our Winnipeg, MB, office.

**Main Projects and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate, produce and publish engaging video/photo content for Birchwood based on existing content strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts that align with Birchwood's branding and marketing objectives.
- Plan and execute on-location shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals and clear audio.
- Utilize professional-grade cameras, equipment, and software to capture and edit footage, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
- Edit and enhance raw footage into visually appealing and engaging videos, including but not limited to vehicle spotlights, customer testimonials, promotional ads, and social media content.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and channels, ensuring they are optimized for web, social media, and other digital outlets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve video production quality and creativity.
- Manage video assets and maintain an organized media library for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Support Birchwood brand engagement events and opportunities through live content capturing and publishing.
- Occasionally assist with photography, caption writing, or other content creation, as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing various video projects and styles.
- Proficiency in video shooting, lighting, and audio techniques, with experience using professional video equipment and accessories.
- Advanced skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and post-production techniques.
- Solid understanding of video optimization for web and social media platforms.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling through visuals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Post-Secondary education in Marketing or Digital Content creation is considered an asset.
- A keen interest in the automotive industry is advantageous.
- Valid 5F driver's license and own transportation to and from work are required
