Construction Laborer

**Overview**
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and ensure proper storage on-site.
- Help with the assembly of structures, including scaffolding, walls, and frameworks.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

**Skills**
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to construction work is preferred.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.94-$24.82 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- construction: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
