**Program Development & Administrative Assistant**

**Canada Summer Jobs Position**

**8 weeks -Monday to Friday 35 hours/week**

**Wage $17.55/hour**

**Duties to include**:

- Update manuals and documents related to the Child and Youth Department.
- Assist in the development of promotional materials to support departmental initiatives.
- Gather information and data for reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collect stakeholder information and maintain updated databases.
- Aid in the planning and coordination of upcoming events and activities for children and youth programs.
- Work with children and youth to support programs as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous administrative or office experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Event planning experience is an asset.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station is required (if over age 18)
