Reporting to the Manager of People Development and Training, the Development Program Coordinator will support our People Development to support national recruitment initiatives for our Strategic Development Program and training tasks across EMCO.

Exceptional organization, strong interpersonal skills, and adapting quickly to technology will be key components of this role.

Job Description Salary Range:
$47K-$55K**- Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams, partners, and stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

  • Monitor program performance against established metrics and targets and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Manage the social media marketing and presence for the development programs.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and profit centre managers to develop program goals, objectives, and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate logistics and resources for program activities, including meetings, workshops, training sessions, and community events.
  • Help with coordination of the annual national future leader conference.
  • Lead the development of project timelines related to development programs and leverage project management techniques for tracking and monitoring metrics, annual activities, individual development paths, internal resources, and expenditures/budgets.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support program planning, monitoring, and evaluation efforts.
  • Prepare program reports, presentations, and other communications materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Help with creating new promotional materials for career fairs, meetings, and other regional campaigns.
  • Manage the social learning space for the Strategic Development Program within our system, updating documents, images and content as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma
  • Strong technical skills and comfort adapting to new technologies (i.e. LMS, ATS, MS Office, etc.)
  • 12 years of experience in administrative support, recruiting activities, event planning, and/or learning organizations.
  • Bilingual (English/French) Preferred
  • Patience to deliver semirepetitive content and answer questions from a wide base of trainee knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently within a dynamic team, organize time among multiple tasks, work through processes and problem solving for teammates in the field, and support our internal team in meeting deliverables.
