As an After School Program Coordinator, you can expect your typical day to include the following responsibilities:
**Inspirational Engagement**: Develop and facilitate enriching after-school programs tailored for students aged 5-12. Create an inspiring and engaging atmosphere that nurtures positive interactions and promotes personal growth.

**Prioritize Safety and Inclusivity**: Establish a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where each child's welfare is paramount. Rigorously uphold safety protocols, ensuring attentive supervision and the thoughtful design of all activities to enhance children's security.

**Personalize Learning Experiences**: Customize learning activities to cater to the unique needs, interests, and talents of each child, fostering an enriching educational journey that helps them thrive.

**Professional Collaboration and Relationship Building**: Work closely with team members, establishing constructive relationships with children, families, and staff. Leverage these connections to further enhance the quality of the after-school program.

**Compassionate Communication**: Communicate sensitively and respectfully with all stakeholders - children, parents, staff, and the broader community, consistently promoting a positive, inclusive environment.

**Assist in Nutrition**: Contribute to children's wellbeing by helping with meal and snack preparations, while ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.

**Required Skills**:

- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior interpersonal abilities to establish a positive rapport with students and facilitate a constructive learning environment
- Patience to cater to individual student needs
- Efficient time management and task prioritization skills
- Problem-solving capabilities

Additional Qualifications:

- Prior experience in camps or after-school programs is beneficial.
- A background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred.
- As a licensed child care program, Early Childhood Educators are eligible for a +4 wage enhancement.

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
