**Job Overview**:
**Experience**:

- Training will be provided for this position, no experience required.

**Duties**:*
- Assist in day-to-day depot operations
- Responsible for meeting set deadlines
- Report to the Yard Supervisor and General Manager
- Cut, weld, and paint containers
- Repair and refurbish containers as needed
- Install and customize container doors, windows, and ventilation systems
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of containers and yard equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of modifications and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion

**Skills**:

- Must be technically inclined
- Having a vehicle and driving license is considered an asset
- Fluent English is considered an asset

**Compensation and Working Hours**:

- Wage for this contract term is set at $15.95 per hour
- Working Hours are 8:30 am - 9 pm - This includes a 30 minute lunch break.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work primarily conducted outdoors in a container yard environment
- Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials and equipment
- Use of protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and welding masks
- Operation of tools and machinery, including cutting, welding, and painting equipment
