**About the Role**:
Every year we grow with new acquisitions and by opening new offices around the world. In 2017 the Group has opened a new office in Canada. The Canadian subsidiary has contributed to achieving a strong market presence thanks to its key brand Rio Mare.

If you are interested in being part of our Group, we have a new opportunity in our Canadian team. We are looking for Customer Service Specialist reporting directly to the Country Manager. In this role, you will be mainly in charge on orders processing and billing, preparation of documents needed for the import of goods into Canada and bookkeeping of invoices and payments processing.

**_ This is an _**_on-site position_**_ with flexibility to work one day per week remotely._**

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**
- Process Distributor orders: receipt + sharing with Italian head office
- Send confirmation of orders to distributor
- Align on shipping plan with distributor and head office
- Direct contact with freight forwarder regarding inbound transports
- Checks payment status, requests Letter of Credits
- Upon receipt of Invoice and docs from Italy, prepare all docs for import into Canada (preparation of sales invoice + import documents for each shipment)
- Management of price lists, items and customer data in the ERP system
- Consumer complaints: acknowledgement and follow up

**Bookkeeping and Payments**
- Bookkeeping of purchase invoices
- Bookkeeping of employees’ note of expenses
- Bookkeeping of bank statements
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Preparation of GST/HST details to be shared with our business consultant for the monthly GST/HST declaration
- Management and update of purchase/sale invoices archive
- Work closely to the F&A team, located in Italy, providing all data available by specific deadlines

**Back office**
- Management of external or internal communications
- Arrange and facilitate meetings, ensuring all parties can attend and that rooms are available
- General support for the local team

**Experience & Skills**:

- 2 to 4 years’ experience in similar roles (Customer Service) and / or industries (FMCG)
- Post-secondary education
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn (bookkeeping area)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines
- Works well in a team environment.

**Language & Computer Skills**:

- Fluency in English, Italian (nice to have), French (nice to have)
- Microsoft Office Package, particularly Excel
- Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) knowledge will be a considered as a plus
