**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Team Lead of The Hub assists the Program Manager in both the daily operation and development of the program. They supervise and assist in the work of the System Navigators and supporting the participants that access The Hub's services. The Team Lead guides and supports the System Navigators by providing coaching and training opportunities, assigning and prioritizing work tasks, ensuring the safety of the employees, participants and developing the services provided by The Hub.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**: of the Team Lead include, but are not limited to:

- Provide orientation to new staff, support, coach and train System Navigators in coordination with the Program Manager's goals.
- Development, coordination, implementation and promotion of services and activities being offered through The Hub to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support ongoing operations of The Hub, including assisting with the scheduling, credit card expense reports, monthly reporting and supply/grocery orders.
- Schedule and attend internal and external training sessions.
- Provide on-site training support to new members of the team.
- Assist with maintaining external agency and organizational relationships to foster community networks.
- Supports the program to reflect The Link: Youth and Family Supports agency and human resources policies and program protocols.
- Provides on call coverage as required.
- Build professional relationships that are supportive, non-judgmental and values differences in cultural backgrounds and lifestyles.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Two years of experience in youth care is preferred
- Experience in a supervisory role would be considered an asset
- Coaching, guiding and mentoring
- Passionate about improving outcomes for youth
- Well-developed relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize
- Has worked within trauma-informed, harm reduction and person-centred frameworks
- Knowledge of Indigenous languages and cultures would be considered an asset

**EDUCATION**
- Completion of grade 12 or GED
- Post-secondary education in social services is an asset
- A combination of education and experience may be considered

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- ASIST Certificate (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) or willing to obtain
- NVCI Certificate (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) or willing to obtain
- Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C or willing to obtain
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search a clear Child Abuse Registry Check, clear Adult Abuse Registry Check and acceptable Prior Contact Check done within the last 3 months

**SALARY**: $24.87 per hour

**LOCATION**: 175 Mayfair Avenue

**HOURS OF WORK**: 40 hours per week; the successful incumbent will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
