Calgary, Canada Cardiology One Full time

Cardiology One is a leading cardiology outpatient clinic and echo laboratory. We specialize in providing comprehensive cardiology diagnostics and consultations. Our state-of-the-art facility ensures that patients receive the highest level of care.

**Job Overview**
- Reception, greeting patients, wait room cleaning
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Managing phone inquiries
- Managing patient charts in our EMR
- Clinic opening and closing procedures
- Supporting other duties as directed by the clinic manager

**Work Location and Hours**:
On-site at Cardiology One on weekdays only. Regular afternoon from 12-5 pm and full or part shifts as required for clinic coverage, holiday coverage, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma, MOA Certificate, and BCLS Certification required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with booking in a medical facility.
- Ability to work under very little supervision as well as work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to maintain poise under pressure, be able to prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires data entry skills in a Windows environment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively using the English language.
- Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills minimum 40 wpm required.

**Experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful at all times.
- An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.
- New employees must provide a criminal records check (at their own expense). Smoking restrictions are in effect. Dress code includes scrub uniforms in the clinic.
- Full vaccination recommended as per Alberta Health Services guidelines
- Applicants must have Canadian work experience or have graduated from a Canadian institution.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
