We provide expertise in ground engineering and tunnel excavation with qualified personnel.

STRABAG is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for our Canadian division, where he/she can utilize their extensive knowledge to contribute to the continued success and growth of the organization. The quality Support Engineer will be responsible for developing and monitoring the Quality Control program, as well as managing and communicating the QC program with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for inspection, monitoring and analyzing of construction activities, developing data sets and comparing to the project specifications and the Quality Control program;
- Provide direct daily quality support and guidance on product quality to the cross-functional team on order execution
- Lead/oversee completion of required quality documentation such as test reports, certificate of compliance, and others
- Review and analyze quality records
- Create and maintain quality system documents
- Assist/administer supplier and vendor audits and assessments
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and action plan
- Perform Advanced Product Quality Planning activities
- Work in conjunction with process engineering to ensure the production process is meeting required product quality
- Perform onboarding and quality training as required
- Assist the Quality Manager in promoting QC communication throughout the project team;
- Promote Strabag to all associated with the project by demonstrating professional skill and a high standard of fairness and integrity.
- Participate in proposals and tenders for new projects; and
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or as a minimum two-year Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent experience in a Quality Control position
- Relevant experience in transit projects would be an asset

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets for data analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query and familiar with Power BI
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical/data-driven
- Ability to work under pressure and bind a team together (production, engineering, project management)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate the workforce
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and flexible

- Team player with a commitment to continuous improvement in health and safety

The employee is generally required to work on a construction site.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
