- The Office Administrator performs administrative duties for both Marmot Basin and the Jasper SkyTram as well as provides support to the Management Team and others in leadership positions. This is a front-line, customer service-oriented position that offers varied administrative duties.- This is a full-time year-round position located at Marmot Basin. Winter scheduling consists of 5x 8hr shifts, typically stretching over the weekend due to company demand. Summer scheduling consists of 4x 10hr days, Mon-Thurs.- Full-time employees have a 3-month probationary period.-

- Strong software skills including use of all Microsoft Office programs.
- Understanding in data management and financial administration is as asset.
- Experience working in the tourism and/or ski industry is an asset.
- Holds an Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and a clear driving abstract.
- At minimum is an intermediate-level skier or snowboarder on Marmot Basin terrain with personally owned gear.

Job Duties
- Schedule internal meetings and record/distribute meeting minutes. This includes but is not limited to Department Head meetings, Safety Committee meetings, and Mountain Operations meetings.
- Assist with e-commerce product validation.
- Supervise, train and schedule seasonal staff to preform administrative duties.
- Prepare Prize Letters and compile charitable requests for approval.
- Postage, town run, shipping and receiving coordination.
- Update and distribute company-wide documents.
- Update information on industry websites.
- Company project planning administration.
- Data input and management.
- Perform radio dispatch duties for summer operations (May-Oct).
- Inventory management for office supplies and propane.
- Process operational purchases with a company credit card and prepare expense reports with supporting documentation.
- General administrative assistance to all departments.
- Seasonal assistance as required to Human Resources for recruitment/onboarding, uniform and Staff Accommodations needs.
- Active membership and participation to the Marmot Basin Staff Committee.
- Exercise confidentiality with the nature of conversations happening in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned.
