**What you will do**:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data. The individual will monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends, and provide actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams. They will contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives.

You will also:

- Gather and analyze sales data to assess performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations. Additionally review market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate sales performance, trends, and recommendations to management.
- Support the sales team by providing data-driven insights, sales tools, and relevant market information.
- Assess data such as customer metrics, competitor information, and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue, profit, and market share.
- Provide advice to the sales team, marketing team and executives to develop and implement strategies to develop sales potential, sales priorities to achieve the business objectives.
- Optimize promotional and operational efforts through the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets. Assess data like customer metrics, competitor information, and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue, profit, and market share.
- Create forecasts and projections showing expected sales and potential effects of new strategies to aid in decision making.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify target markets, customer segments, and strategic sales approaches.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and finance, to align sales initiatives and optimize overall business performance.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts and budgeting plans based on historical data and market insights.
- Monitor and evaluate sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and customer conversion rates.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging market trends to provide proactive recommendations for business growth.
- Work on special projects as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Word), working knowledge of ERP systems experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
- Deadline driven and results oriented.

**Qualifications Required Are**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role
