A dynamic web software company with a specialized software suite designed for associations and non-profits is looking for a high-energy sales person to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for developing leads and closing sales in a targeted niche market, where you will utilize your business development, prospecting, presentation and closing skills.

Comfortable working alone or in a team, you have exceptional communication skills, strong problem solving abilities and a proven record of exceeding sales objective. As an agile thinker and quick learner, you easily adapt to new technologies and opportunities. Travel may be needed in this position.

**Responsibilities**
- Prospect, develop and close leads in a niche market covering both Canada & the US
- Act as the point person for preparation of quotations, proposals, and subsequent contract negotiations with new clients
- Develop & maintain a detailed understanding of company products and services
- Travel in support of sales or training meetings, customer site visits, and/or trade shows as required or requested.
- Demonstrate product and technical knowledge in providing detailed and effective online and in-person product demonstrations
- Track sales activity on a weekly basis and complete monthly sales reports for senior management
- Maintain a current (daily/weekly) prospect database for all prospects
- Successfully hand-off new clients to Client Support team for training and implementation
- Provide feedback to Marketing and Tech Support in developing effective and professional sales and training materials for company capabilities and services

**Requirements**:

- Association industry experience preferred
- 3+ years of successful sales experience and proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs and close deals
- Experience in effectively using a consultative selling style
- Prior experience with a web-based software is preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly, as required

**Compensation and Benefits**: solid base salary, plus a generous commission structure: when the company makes money, you make money.
