**Duties**:
Stream 1: The Interpretation Officer/Coordinator II (PM-02) will be responsible for the supervision of the Heritage Presenter(s). They will also lead the development and delivery of interpretive programs with a focus on cultural programming, in-park school programming and community-based events like Pine Lake Picnic and Dark Sky Festival.

Stream 2: The Visitor Services Team Leader (PM-03) will be responsible for the supervision of the Visitor Services Attendant. They also plan, implement and coordinate visitor services operations. These operations include the Pine Lake Campground, rental cabins and group camp, as well as the visitor center operations, Parks Canada shop and equipment rentals.

**Work environment**:
Make a connection with the community and visitors alike by planning, organizing and delivering Wood Buffalo National Park’s special events or visitor services.

Work in the park will include both day trips, and overnight trips, such as a backcountry camping program with Junior High School students.

EDUCATION
Stream 1: Interpretation Officer/Coordinator II (PM-02): An acceptable and relevant combination of education, training, experience or traditional knowledge relevant to the position OR 2 years of post-secondary education.

Stream 2: Visitor Services Team Leader III (PM-03): An acceptable and relevant combination of education, training, experience or traditional knowledge relevant to the position OR graduation from post-secondary studies.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

Stream 1: Interpretation Officer/Coordinator II (PM-02):

- Experience in the development of interpretive programs for a variety of audiences;
- Experience in presenting interpretive programs (examples: educational, cultural and/or natural history-based);
- Experience in supervising staff, volunteers and/or students;
- Experience in working with stakeholders and partners (i.e. committees, cooperating associations, teachers, school board, communities and Indigenous groups).

Stream 2: Visitor Services Team Leader III (PM-03):

- Experience in providing input for the planning, implementation or delivery of visitor services;
- Experience in assessing the effectiveness of services provided and recommending improvements;
- Experience in supervising staff, volunteers and/or students;
- Experience in working with stakeholders and partners (i.e. committees, cooperating associations, teachers, school board, communities and Indigenous groups).

- Knowledge of the role of interpretation relevant to delivering Parks Canada’s mandate;
