The Blueprint

The Handyperson plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Technical Audit Team to address deficiencies identified in technical audits. This position is accountable for working with clients, property management, trades, and consultants to perform various repairs and maintenance tasks. The Handyperson will engage in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs, including but not limited to drywall repair, minor fixture and millwork repair, painting, caulking, minor flooring, and grouting.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities
- Performing a hands-on broad range of repairs in a timely, professional, and safe manner
- Communicating proficiently and professionally with the supervisor, co-workers, clients, and trade
- Reviewing work orders and executing required tasks accordingly
- Documenting service notes, material, and trade requirements and providing status updates for all work orders as applicable to the manager.
- Ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

- Proven experience in a similar role with hands-on repair skills and a familiarity with relevant tools and equipment.
- Strong customer-service orientation for professional interaction with stakeholders.
- Excellent troubleshooting ability and technical expertise for diverse challenges.
- Effective time management, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- A good technical understanding of construction and condominium building is considered an asset.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, involving construction site and mobile office work.
- Comfortable with physical demands like climbing ladders and exposure to varying weather conditions.

Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Daily travel between various sites across the Greater Toronto Area.
