**JOB TITLE**:
Helpdesk Technician. Job Reference #202305-01

**DESCRIPTION**:
The Helpdesk Technician will:

- Act as a primary contact for faculty, staff, and students seeking technical assistance.
- Work to diagnose and troubleshoot issues remotely or in person.
- Deliver excellent client support services while assisting users in resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take direction from, and assist the Client Support and Helpdesk Supervisor to manage incoming support requests.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users.
- Configure client equipment to connect to the College’s wired or wireless networks.
- Configure and deploy new computer workstations for faculty, administration, and staff.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing audio-visual equipment in classrooms, meeting rooms, and the Kenny Theatre.
- Assist in supporting end users assuring their needs are met and equipment is functioning as required for events, meetings and academic classes

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred)**:
The incumbent will:

- Have a College Diploma in Computer Science or a related background
- Bring at least 2 years of previous relevant experience
- Experience with PDQ Deploy, Inventory and Connect, RAMP, Microsoft AD, Microsoft 365, all Microsoft Operating systems, and MAC OS are crucial to success.
- Experience deploying mobile devices in a managed environment.

**TYPE OF JOB**:
Permanent Full-Time (40 hours per week)

**EFFECTIVE DATE**:
As soon as possible

**SALARY RANGE**:
Subject to budgetary approval.
