House Painter and Decorator

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and construction team to understand project goals and design preferences
- Create design concepts and plans for interior and exterior decorations
- Select and source materials and furniture to bring the design concept to life
- Prepare surfaces prior to painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to achieve desired results
- Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure projects are completed seamlessly

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a House Decorator and Painter or similar role
- Strong artistic and design skills
- Knowledge of color theory and design principles
- In-depth knowledge of various painting techniques and tools
- Ability to interpret clients’ preferences and turn them into a cohesive design concept
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in design, fine arts, or related field is a plus
