**Job Summary**

**Note**:This is an on-site position and the incumbent will be required to be in the office to carry out assigned job responsibilities.

**What is the opportunity?**

**What will you do?**
- Provide administrative and sales support to the Origination Team based in Toronto
- Assist in preparation of internal and external marketing materials
- Conduct thorough research on companies and industries and delivery of concise summaries
- Support team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients
- Establish relationships and collaborate with key RBC partners including Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management
- Generating new business pipeline through prospecting outbound opportunities

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**:

- A post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in commerce or business administration, or related experience
- Demonstrated success in a business development role, especially with respect to the acquisition of new clients, and prospecting
- Strong computer literacy with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel presentation skills
- Ability to use research tools to extract relevant background material for business development and transaction support
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment under time constraints
- Entrepreneurial attitude and self-motivation to achieve above average results
- Ability to prioritize, commit to a task with excellent attention to detail, and perform well under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines as this is frequently not a 9-to-5 environment

**Nice to have**:

- CPA, CFA, CBV or other relevant professional designation or relevant advanced degree - ongoing or completed
