We do not have a cookie-cutter approach but use creative solutions to overcome difficult problems to complete transactions.The role:We are looking for a committed individual who is excited about transactions. A typical day could include the following tasks:Support Vice Presidents and Associates in executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises and valuation engagements.Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.Perform research and analysis in support of thematic publications and new business generationAssist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials and client presentationsManage purchasers throughout the sale process including facilitating their diligencePrepare external client proposals.Job Requirements:An ideal candidate should have the following:Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or a related field with a proven academic record.2 - 3 years of work experience in an accounting or corporate finance role.A strong understanding of financial accounting, valuation, modelling and forecasting.The ability to function well in both a team setting and on a self-directed basis.Excellent time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work products consistentlyProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Strong organizational skillsCPA, CFA or CBV designation
