Client Base Our clients consist of professionals, businesses and not for profit organizations located throughout Southern Manitoba. Our client base covers nearly every organizational structure and industry sector. This diversity enables us to provide our students with a broad spectrum of practical experience to complement their professional studies. Student Experience & Support Students are assigned a mentor, but are encouraged to seek answers from any member of our team as required. Students are also supported with assistance on issues they are facing in their course of studies. Additional support offered for students includes payment of all annual student dues, module fees, Densmore CFE prep fees and common final examination fees. In addition, time off is provided for studying prior to and during examinations. Future ONBusiness is a rapidly growing firm with opportunities for advancement regularly presenting themselves. As a result of the experience and support offered to our students we find that they quickly progress to more senior roles within our firm. We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager who is an experienced public accountant to join our team of our Financial Services Division in our Winnipeg office.

**Accountable for**:

- Planning and assigning of workload over the fiscal year, including a one-year documented plan;
- Review of year-end files (corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship) prepared by team in the Financial Services department;
- Consultation with members of the team to resolve issues raised, where necessary;
- Training of team members;
- Supervising and motivating members of the Financial Services team, including performance evaluations;
- Effectiveness and efficiency of individual team members and department, including reporting to shareholders on individual targets and performance;
- Taking ownership of the client; becoming the first contact with the client;
- Client service activities and special projects as they relate to the Financial Services department; including exploring additional opportunities with existing clients to further growth.

**Qualifications/Skills, Experience, and Personal Attributes**:

- CPA having hands-on public practice experience in performance and completion of files for accounting, corporation tax, & personal tax for small to mid-sized clients;
- File review experience in a public practice setting;
- Minimum two years experience in management and supervision;
- Solid knowledge of corporation tax;
- Solid knowledge of personal tax;
- Solid knowledge of accounting & GAAP;
- IT skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Caseware, Profile, TaxPrep, Jazz-It;
