Reporting to the Retail Accounting Systems Manager, the EDI Analyst will be responsible for reading and interpreting EDI specification documents and managing the exchanges between the various stakeholders when activating a new document. They will be the main stakeholder, working closely with the various departments of the company, including accounting, I.T., developers. They will be the point of contact for the day-to-day management of EDI requests.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Manage vendor relationship setup for electronic data interchange (EDI) for invoicing in US and Canada. Includes coordinating efforts between Accounting, Pricebook and IT teams.
- Test and certify new vendor implementations and work with multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Communicate with internal/external teams for all processes including issues, coordination of testing and go-live dates.
- Configure electronic invoice processing system for vendors and stores as required for new vendors and integration activities.
- Participate in development of program changes to electronic invoice processing system. Test and certify changes with proper change management documentation.
- Troubleshoot EDI related issues including, but not limited to, error processing, research and resolutions to issues reported by IT, Stores Accounting and/or AP teams**.**
**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or IT required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting/IT areas
- Ability to communicate across multiple disciplines (Accounting, Pricebook and IT) and adjust language based on audience.
- Ability to be self-driven and require mínimal guidance.
- Organized with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex timelines, multi-task and meet timelines with high quality work output.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Bilingual proficiency in French/English.
- Software knowledge PDI Entreprise (an asset)
