**The Role**

The **EDI Analyst** role is pivotal in providing analytical support and tools for Customer Collaboration and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within the customer service framework. This encompasses creating profiles for various retail channels like Grocery, Mass, Convenience, Club, and Value, and furnishing scorecards and KPI data to streamline the order management process. Responsibilities also include managing EDI within the SAP environment, both for ongoing operations and a new project, along with legacy system support.

**Your Impact**
- Monitor and analyze SAP IDOCs to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Review SAP segments for different EDI maps and collaborate with EDI partners to align IDOCs and x12 segment mapping with Trading partners' specifications.
- Configure FTP mailbox or other communication protocols as necessary.
- Collaborate with Value-Added Networks (VANs) to implement EDI required documents and processes.
- Troubleshoot EDI issues with trading partners and Account Managers, documenting solutions for efficient problem resolution.
- Oversee daily EDI operations, encompassing production support, administration, control, scheduling, and balancing of EDI documents.
- Identify and implement process enhancements within the EDI structure, including system interfaces and policy and procedure adjustments.
- Conduct detailed analysis of project requirements and contribute to functional specification development.
- Engage with VANs, AS2, (S)FTP, and HTTP(S) partners to implement enhancements and monitor document transmissions.
- Lead projects focused on digitizing current processes for customers, leveraging EDI capabilities like autoload implementation for automatic order generation, reducing manual EDI orders.
- Act as the primary liaison with key users in specific functional areas of the business.
- Collaborate closely with SAP business analysts to resolve daily issues and design/create new business processes.
- Provide project and technical guidance to other IS members or consultants assigned to specific projects or functional areas.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks.
- Deliver training to new and existing system users.
- Identify, develop, and maintain procedures for system recovery in case of disaster.
- Coordinate with IS Operations to ensure systems are transitioned to production status post-implementation or upgrade.

**About You**
- An understanding of SAP and IDOCs
- Experience in customer service.
- 2+ years of EDI experience
- General understanding of the business tools and terminology within the consumer products industry.
- Strong process improvement knowledge and skills.
- Data analysis and critical thinking, problem solving skills.
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated personal and professional values, being a role model & positive influence on those around him/her. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity and character.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Good level working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros), PowerPoint and Outlook.
