**We are seeking a CFO Transformation Lead, will lead the formalization, prioritization and execution of Business Unit (BU)**
**strategic initiatives assigned to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).** This role is critical to enabling change to improve the BU's
ability to deliver its core strategic, risk and financial services and building capabilities in its people, process and technology to
support the enterprise in the journey to become the Manitoba Hydro of the future.

**_Responsibilities:_**
- Lead the formalization, prioritization and execution of Business Unit (BU) initiatives within the CFO BU, under the direction of

the CFO leadership team. This includes:

- Preparing, supporting, and guiding the business unit as we move through a major financial system upgrade.
- Acting as the CFO lead to develop the overall CFO technology roadmap. The roadmap will help plan, prioritize, and guide

execution of initiatives. Initiatives will implement new solutions, improvements, and address technology deficits. This may
include the use of new technologies and improvements to related processes.
- Using agile Product Management skills, guide the BU in defining issues/opportunities and developing a cohesive vision for the

CFO technology roadmap. This includes:

- Continuously developing and communicating the vision and scope with business leaders. Highlighting business milestones

and impacts within the roadmap.
- Guiding decision making on impacts and risk mitigations to improve outcomes.
- Communicating the roadmap to stakeholders and advising delivery teams.
- Managing and prioritizing the flow of work. Organizing a pipeline connected to the CFO technology roadmap.
- Working with technical solution/architect leads to understand technology deficit and available options.
- Use creativity and technology to visualize the CFO Technology roadmap in business friendly format(s).
- Lead an enterprise-wide cross functional team to identify and pursue potential sources of capital funding available (e.g. third

party capital) to meet enterprise requirements. This includes:

- Developing an investment framework to assess the inputs required for understanding future capital needs in the evolving

energy landscape.
- Identify, prioritize and maximize sources of available federal grant funding opportunities that meet current requirements.
- Lead cross functional teams using process improvement techniques to guide initiatives by documenting business processes;
recognizing performance gaps and conducting root cause analysis to identify opportunities to automate, centralize, eliminate
or standardize processes/policies; and recommending, designing and implementing solutions to deliver operational
efficiencies in the CFO to better support the enterprise.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Four-year degree with six years of experience or a two-year diploma with eight years of experience in, Business or another

relevant discipline leading change and making process improvement, or an equivalent combination of related education and
experience.
- Proven experience working in a Product Management function within a medium to large sized organization.
- Domain knowledge of a CFO business unit, processes, and mandate.
- Demonstrated understanding of operational and business processes that connect the organization.
- Ability to act as a thought-partner to initiative leaders and manage the complex change that arises from transformation, by
- translating it into a clear roadmap.- A high degree of integrity, initiative, creativity and judgment, with proven ability to work independently under broad guidelines
- and minimum supervision.- Strong interpersonal attributes with the ability to work with and provide guidance to personnel at all levels in the Corporation,
- including senior leadership.- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure according to tight timelines. Ability to
