We are currently searching for an experienced, professional and customer focused **Property Admin **to support our Dartmouth based operation. You will be responsible for providing support in the daily functions of Property Management and for providing excellent customer service to our tenants.

**Responsibilities**:
**Property Admin**
- Acts as the office-based point of contact for all tenant and property related matters. Ensure response to maintenance issues are dealt with accordingly.
- Prepares and schedules leases, coordinate apartment showings and provide administrative support throughout the leasing process.
- Ensure the terms of Residential Tenancy Act are followed.
- Preparing tenant letters.
- As part of the Property Team, there could be times of emergency (regular hours & after hours) when an ‘All Hands-on Deck’ approach is required.
- Social media/Marketing
- Other reports and duties as assigned.

**Office Admin**
- Maintain files, produce correspondence.
- Compile, maintain and streamline the organizations current spreadsheets/databases.
- Data Entry, such as (but not limited to) accounts receivable and payable.
- General administrative duties, answering phones, redirecting calls, responding to inquires, answering the door, scheduling maintenance requests, maintaining the boardroom for meetings.
- Provide admin support to the Board of Directors.
- Social Media/Marketing
- Other reports and duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role an asset
- Awareness of the affordable housing support system in Nova Scotia considered an asset.
- Experience with Yardi and property management industry an asset.
- Strong organizational skills required and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, at the same time, the ability to work through a slower part of the day.
- Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Customer Service.
- Is dedicated to understanding and handling customer expectations independently. Proactively manages and monitors customer satisfaction while providing friendly and courteous customer service. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
- Communicate clearly and confidently verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences. Demonstrate the ability to tailor information and delivery to suit the nature of the material, audience and situation.

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
