A local Property Management company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative Clerk to join our growing team and portfolio of apartment buildings in HRM and Wolfville NS. The position is permanent full time based in HRM.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Processing Vendor invoices, matching to support, verifying accuracy and posting invoices
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Processing payments
- Resolving billing issues
- Rent administration
- Invoicing
- Account reconciliation
- Payment processing
- Collections
- Reviewing and maintaining monthly rent roll for accuracy and billing
- Assisting with Financial Statement Reporting and Variance Analysis
- Preparation of bank deposits
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting with tenant issues

Assisting with Leases and any required documentation

Filing and Data storage

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education, Community College Diploma/Certificate in Accounting/Administration/Business diploma, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years related accounting and administration experience
- Knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices
- Working knowledge of accounting software programs
- Highly proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Well-organized and able to balance competing demands
- Professional, organized with strong administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Working in property management and real estate investments industry would be considered an asset
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task
- Ability to work independently

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
