- The Ontario Renal Network Information Program (ORN IP) is responsible for deploying and supporting information management solutions while ensuring solid client relationships throughout the support lifecycle for all regional renal programs across Ontario. The Specialist, Service is primarily responsible for both project based and operational business support activities. During project deployment, the Service Specialist fulfills a project coordination role to ensure client renal programs are successful in meeting the requirements of the initiative, including monitoring project milestones, reporting and managing risks and issues, identifying corrective measures and providing general business and project guidance. In an operational capacity, the Specialist, Service is the primary point of contact for assigned renal programs.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Participates in the design, development and delivery of support services to engage renal programs involved in data submission to the Ontario Renal Reporting System (ORRS)-
- Supports and trains facility resources on data submission business processes and reporting tools-
- Work closely with renal program resources and internal team members to monitor facility deliverables to ensure timelines and quality measures are met-
- Proactively engages with renal program clients, stakeholders and internal teams to effectively manage relationships and establish a trusted advisor roleDevelops innovative approaches for addressing business, project and operational support needs-
- Identifies risks and issues related to project completion, including the identification of options for resolution and recommended course of action-
- Maintains facility information databases and profiles consistently and accurately-
- Performs cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requestedHere is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- An undergraduate degree with a major/minor in healthcare administration, informatics, business, or equivalent experience is preferred-
- 4-8 years’ experience in a client facing support and/or service delivery role (healthcare preferred)-
- Demonstrated experience in corporate and/or business related communications-
- Previous experience in a client-facing role with a focus on customer service, relationship management and service delivery is required (preferably healthcare related)-
- Requires a significant amount of communications with both internal and external clients and therefore the successful applicant should have experience with corporate and/or business related communicationsKnowledge and Skills- Demonstrated excellence in customer service-
- Conceptual understanding of project management and deployment frameworks and/or agile processes-
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work in a multi-disciplinary team environment-
- Demonstrated ability to provide innovative and creative solutions that will achieve quality and work process improvements-
- Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment; is able to think and act quickly, is flexible and can quickly adapt to change-
- Proactive self-starter, quick learner, energetic-
- Works well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience-
- Demonstrated leadership skills within a team environment-
- Excellent analytic, problem solving and business judgment skills required-
- Exceptional attention to detail required-
- Superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization-
- Knowledge of MS Teams, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required- Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
