**Overview**

**Hoisting Engineer - Mobile Crane Operator 1 - If you do not have this please do not apply.**

**Duties**:

- Operate mobile, RT/Track cranes safely and efficiently to lift and transport materials as required by project specifications.
- Operate various vibro packs, pling hammers and experience with drill rigs
- Rig loads properly to ensure safe lifting and movement.
- Communicate clearly with ground crew members to coordinate movements and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and operational hours.
- Collaborate with team members to build structures or set up equipment as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
- Assist in training new operators or crew members on safe operating procedures.
- Clean and lubricate cranes
- Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
- Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
- Operate cranes mounted on barges to lift, move and place equipment and materials

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Crane Operator and working on a pile driving crew.
- **must have proper red seal certification and listed on the Skilled Trades Public registry
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with boom trucks is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service can enhance interactions with clients on-site.

Pay: From $52.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

**Experience**:

- Piling/ drill rig: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
- Certified Hoisting Engineer Red Seal (required)
- member of Operating Engineers (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
- Red Seal trade cert 339a License (required)
