**Position**: Grower

**Works alongside of**:Growing Team

**Reports to**: Head Grower

**Grower Expectations**: As part of the growing team, the grower works closely with the head grower to help implement the plant requirements and schedules in a timely manner and with an eye to top quality.

**Key Skills and Qualities**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Growing Experience is an asset
- Understanding/desire to learn greenhouse environmental controls and growing principles
- Demonstrates high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, humility, and respect
- Takes pride in a beautiful, finished product
- Excellent record keeping and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lead others when needed
- Independent thinker
- Eagerness to learn and be innovative
- Excellent time management

**Outcome Expectations**
- Take initiative to learn and develop into a work environment that is team driven yet supported by independent thinking with the potential to lead in areas of the job role.
- Directives and schedule received from the head grower are adhered to.
- Crops are maintained as per directives set out.
- Company goals are met with a clear understanding of the impact the position responsibilities have to the quality of the crops and the outcomes of the final saleable product.
- Any issues developing in the crops that need corrective action are recognized and brought forward to the head grower.
- All compliance requirements are met as directed by the head grower.
- Be a backup for all members of the growing team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
