**POSITION**: Seasonal Park Attendant\ Clerk** DIVISION**:Parks

**DEPARTMENT**:Community Services **DATE CREATED**:April 19, 2023

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
To assist with services necessary to maintain the appearance of the parks, sports fields and beaches and to provide clerical\ administrative support for Summer operations.

**SUPERVISION RECEIVED**:
Parks Supervisor

**DIRECTION EXERCISED**:
None

**WORKING PROCEDURES**:

- Undertakes records management tasks;
- Assists with the maintenance of electronic and physical files, documents and records;
- Supports the Parks Division including invoice processing, and tracking expenses, as appropriate and assigned;
- Assists with parks maintenance, including grass mowing, picking up of litter, checking garbage and replacing bags;
- Monitoring park grounds/beach area and reporting any damage to the Supervisor;
- Assists with park inspections;
- Painting;
- And other related duties as assigned.

Participate in the Town’s Health and Safety Program and follows safety practices in work methods and procedures; observe and comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
