Front of House Staff

**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they receive exceptional service. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for various customer-facing duties that contribute to a positive dining experience.
**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Assist with food service, including serving food and beverages, as well as clearing tables promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or changes.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a busy setting.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
