Through our infrastructure consulting and advisory practice, we work with decision-makers to refine organizational systems, programs and processes for better corporate outcomes.
**As we continue to grow, PSD Citywide is looking to add a dynamic Training Specialist to our Implementation team. This is a Full Time Remote based role within Canada.**
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders on our software products.
- Design and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive internal training programs for employees on the effective use of our software products.
- Collaborate with the product development team to stay current on software updates and new features, incorporating this information into training programs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and customize programs accordingly.
- Provide one-on-one or group training sessions, either in person or through virtual platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure that client facing user guides and internal training materials are up to date.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and training best practices to continuously improve training programs.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to address customer training needs and contribute to customer success.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years experience as a Software Trainer or similar role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning methods.
- Familiarity with different training methods and techniques, both in-person and virtual.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Certification in training or instructional design is considered an asset.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
- Experience with modern training tools including video editors, AI training video generation, and learning management systems.
