Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Polyanalytik Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory settings and excellent analytical skills.

About the Role

This permanent position offers 30 hours of work per week, with a competitive estimated salary of $43,000 - $53,000 per year based on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and operate various apparatus to support chemical experiments and analyses.
  • Set up and execute chemical tests, maintain quality standards, and compile records of experimental results.
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of experimental apparatus and prepare solutions for sampling and analysis.

Requirements
  • A college diploma, CEGEP, or non-university certificate in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology).
  • At least 2 years of experience in laboratory settings, preferably in environmental monitoring and protection.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
