**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the company’s marketing strategy to maximize growth rate;
- Lead market research initiative and coordinate with technical and finance leads to incorporate findings/recommendations into product development and pricing;
- Ensure adequate and timely creation and distribution of all marketing support materials (includes data sheets, industry specific documents, event and trade show packages, etc.);
- Investigate, develop and implement other marketing, advertising and public relations vehicles that can be used to promote CDS product and services, as well as recommend new ideas to Management in order to maximize sales;
- Continuously update CDS's competitive advantages and key selling propositions and incorporate them into various sales tools.
- Produce, launch, and monitor publicity campaigns directed at the media industry following new product launches and significant corporate-related events at CDS;
- Prepare and present annual marketing budget to management;
- Keep product documentation current, with regular reviews of those documents;
- Compile and provide quarterly/annual reporting to Sales Team, prepare presentations and provide sales information where required;
- Track, pre-qualify, and disseminate sales leads to the appropriate Account Managers and Sales Agents;
- Understanding of the products or services the company sells and their industry
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales, website, and social media statistics
- Ability to keep track of lots of small details
- Organize domestic and international trade shows and conferences in which CDS participates;
- Write and present the results of CDS’s annual customer surveys;
**Education and skills**
- 1-3 years of experience
- Bachelor degree in Commerce and/or Marketing
- Bilingual
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong working knowledge with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
- Experience working with outside vendors, such as printers, graphic designers
- Software knowledge: Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Express and MS Word
- Creative

**Tâches et responsabilités**
- Étudier, développer et mettre en œuvre la stratégie de marketing pour maximiser le taux de croissance ainsi que pour promouvoir les produits et services de l’entreprise;
- Rechercher les données de marché et intégrer les résultats/recommandations dans le développement de produits et de territoires;
- Assurer la création, la distribution et la mise à jour du matériel de support Marketing (incluant des fiches techniques, des documents spécifiques de l'industrie, les événements et les salons, etc.);
- Mettre à jour de façon continue les avantages concurrentiels clés de l’entreprise et les incorporer dans différents outils de vente;
- Produire et lancer des campagnes de publicité dans différents médias (internet, journaux);
- Préparer et présenter un budget annuel de marketing à la direction;
- Compiler et fournir des rapports trimestriels/annuels à l'équipe des ventes, préparer des présentations et fournir des informations de ventes, si nécessaire;
- Trouver et diffuser des listes de clients potentiels aux représentants des ventes;
- Mettre à jour le contenu du site et fournir des statistiques pour appuyer des recommandations afin d’augmenter l’achalandage;
