**About The Role**

As a Category Specialist at Graham, you will:

- Support the Senior Category Manager in delivering agreed upon objectives.
- By leading cross functional teams, develop and implement category management strategies across multiple categories in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and foster relationships with internal stakeholders to understand internal client requirements and implement the most appropriate supply chain solutions.
- Spend data mining and analysis using Excel and Power BI.
- Strategic Sourcing of multiple categories as assigned.
- Negotiate, draft, execute, and implement Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with key suppliers.
- Deliver the value creation program, driving cost reduction/avoidance and operational efficiency/effectiveness.
- Prepare and support the placement of subcontract and material supply orders.
- Adhere to Graham supply chain strategies, processes, and procedures.
- Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and key suppliers.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance by conducting regular vendor relationships meetings.
- Demonstrate HSE and Quality behaviors that reflect corporate expectations of Actively Caring and Road to Zero.
- Demonstrate business professionalism that is in line with Graham’s core values of commitment, integrity, and reliability
- Willingness to problem-solve complex issues, finding an effective supply chain solution that works for all stakeholders involved.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by Senior Category Manager and other SCM Leaders.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or technical field.
- SCMP designations or pursuit of SCMP is an asset.
- 5-8 years of progressive supply chain experience with exposure to Category Management or Strategic Sourcing, and experience managing multiple categories.
- Proven record of supply chain category strategy development and/or strategic sourcing.
- Ability to independently conduct RFx events, including but not limited to RFx drafting and issuance, supplier selection and evaluation, contract award recommendation.
- Experience in drafting contracts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to address internal client concerns in a timely manner.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight and demanding deadlines.
- Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office, Power BI. Advanced Excel knowledge. SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Most of the work is completed at the corporate office, however occasional travel may required.
- Ability to comply with Graham’s work from home policy.
