**ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST**

**Position Summary**:
Alpha Controls is currently seeking an Administrative Specialist to handle a variety of duties at our Markham headquarters. Using your knowledge and experience, you will provide support to many departments within the company, including Purchasing, Accounting, Sales, and Service.

**What you will be doing**:

- Expediting product and service orders
- Proactively notifying customers of any delays and working closely with suppliers to minimize such delays
- Assisting Procurement with issuing and receiving purchase orders
- Following up on quotes that have been issued by Sales & Service
- Invoicing and collections
- Maintain QA documentation
- Provide exceptional service to our customers with outstanding communication and response time

**Education and Experience**:

- Business administration degree or equivalent experience a must
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative position

- Strong verbal/written communication skills and computer skills
- Demonstrate initiative, able to work independently, and be self-motivated
- Excellent customer service - outgoing, friendly, team player, positive attitude
- Organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task
- Ability to deal clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers and co-workers
