Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an energetic, outgoing and professional **_Restaurant _**_H_**_ostess / Host_** to join our team in The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

**_ Full-time - Variable schedule: Days, Nights, Weekends_**

**_ Competitive hourly wage based on experience starting at _**_$20,00$ + tips_**

Reporting to the General Manager, the **_Hostess / Host_** is the first point of contact for our valued guests. Your main responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and leading customers to the dining and bar areas. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of the dining room table numbers and their assigned locations
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Lead guests with reservations to assigned dining and bar areas
- Manage reservations and available seating options
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist in helping clear and set tables when time permits
- Communicate and collaborate with busboys to ensure quick and efficient service

**Requirements**:

- Must be bilingual (French and English) and 18 years or older
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Has an excellent understanding of time management
- A positive and collaborative team player attitude
- Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Sous la responsabilité du directeur général, l'**_hôtesse ou l'hôte_** est le premier point de contact de nos invités. Vos principales responsabilités comprennent l'accueil des invités, la fourniture de temps d'attente précis et l'orientation des clients vers les espaces de restauration et de bar. Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous devez avoir d'excellentes compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles et aimer travailler dans un environnement en évolution rapide.

**Responsabilités**:

- Accueillez et assistez les invités de manière chaleureuse et professionnelle
- Offrir un service de qualité supérieure et maximiser la satisfaction de la clientèle
- Connaissance des numéros de table de la salle à manger et de leurs emplacements assignés
- Fournir des temps d'attente précis et surveiller les listes d'attente
- Dirigez les clients avec des réservations vers les zones de restauration et de bar assignées
- Gérer les réservations et les options de sièges disponibles
- Maintenir un espace d'accueil propre et organisé
- Aider à clarifier et à établir les tables lorsque le temps le permet
- Communiquer et collaborer avec les busboys pour assurer un service rapide et efficace

**Exigences**:

- Doit être bilingue (français et anglais) et âgé de 18 ans ou plus
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, aux relations interpersonnelles et à l'organisation
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement en évolution rapide
- A une excellente compréhension de la gestion du temps
- Une attitude positive et collaborative de joueur d'équipe
- Doit être capable de travailler sur vos pieds pendant la durée du quart de travail
- Flexibilité pour travailler divers quarts de travail, y compris les fins de semaine, les soirs et les jours fériés
