- Scope of Position:
- The Service Coordinator will work closely with the Mediation Services Team and the Program
- Director, and will be responsible for the coordination of the Restorative Responses to Harm or- We are excited for you to join our team, walking alongside community in restorative ways.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement services for the RRHC program
- Assist in the program development and delivery of effective Restorative Justice

programming- Present to community agencies and referral sources about programs
- Maintain and coordinate day to day program activities; including participation in

dialogues and coaching, if needed- Document accurate monthly statistics and provide to applicable funders
- Assist with training, supervision and support of community members who volunteer

their time- Model restorative practices and values with colleagues, volunteers, participants and

program partners- Develop and nurture working relationships with external partnerships
- Connect with the wider CJI team
- Attend meetings, events and trainings as possible
- Potential to liaison at court to represent program
- Able to work flexible hours as required
- Miscellaneous duties as needed and discussed together

Skills that are an asset in the position:
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Social Services, Peace and Conflict Studies, or

experiential equivalent- In-depth understanding of Restorative Justice philosophy and principles
- Training in transformative mediation and conflict resolution
- Experience with intake, assessment, case management, and documentation
- Volunteer engagement experience
- Experience with trauma-informed, intersectional approach to support participants
- Commitment to an anti-oppressive/anti-racist and decolonized approach
- Ability to ensure a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to exercise self-care
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings as needed
- Police Reference Check (including vulnerable sector) will be required and a criminal

record does not necessarily eliminate you from consideration for the position
