GFL Environmental is looking for a full time Transportation/Logistics Coordinator to help support our operations in North York, ON. Responsible for following up with operations, sales and customers regarding missed orders and available material to buy/sell. Also to facilitate and coordinate internal customer service for brokerage and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Request release #, create sales orders and purchase orders,
- Enter order into Cie Trade, enter price (if confirmed) and freight rate,
- Arrange transportation when necessary (freight rates negotiated and determined by the Logistics Manager),
- Communicate with Plants and End Markets/Customers confirmation of orders.
- Schedule delivery appointments, when necessary,
- Create and distribute Canada Customs Invoices for International outbound loads,
- Upon receipt of paper work (workorder/ scale ticket), forward to Admin for pricing, received weights and matching.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:

- Assist Department when necessary to cover absenteeism & vacation.
- Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Provide and/or participate in training as required.
- Comply with company rules, policies and procedures.
