Receptionist & Administrative Co-ordinator

**We are currently seeking a Receptionist & Administrative Co-ordinator on a Temporary Full-Time basis. This position is temporary but with the possibility of being extended to a full year.**
**Summary of Position**
The Receptionist and Administrative Co-ordinator is the first point of contact for students, staff, families, visitors and service providers arriving at BSS. As such, it is expected that the Receptionist will meet, greet and direct all arrivals in a warm, friendly, professional and efficient manner, ensuring that all needs are appropriately handled. The Receptionist is a member of the Senior School Office team. The Receptionist works in a procedural, collaborative manner with faculty, students, parents, and staff in keeping with the school’s vision, philosophy and strategic plan.
**Specific Accountabilities**
- Provides professional and friendly help and direction to members of the BSS community and the public
- Answers the main phone lines
- Supports Vice Principal Student Life and Belonging, calendar management, visa reconciliation and other duties as assigned
- Tracks and monitors visitors and assigns appropriate documentation for security purposes
- Tracks student arrivals and departures during the school day and liaises with the division office for attendance purposes
- Handles the outgoing courier and all transportation process including scheduling and invoicing reconciliation
- Ensures the reception area is presentable at all times
- Works closely with Athletic Directors to ensure timely and efficient scheduling and coordination for transportation for athletic teams
- Coordinates and manages Athletics transportation process spreadsheet that is accessible to all office staff members
- Administers the invoicing of all school transport needs and for athletic teams
- Handles transportation for grade trips and other events
- Other duties as assigned

- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
