- Level I position based in Fraser Valley E, British Columbia.

**Expanded Summary of Roles & Responsibilities - Sales**
The Technical Consultant I will be accountable to maximize sales by visiting customers, exposing customers to relevant Koppert product lines, recommending technically sound IPM programs via product knowledge and established protocols, while meeting annual sales goals for the assigned territory.
**Account Management (potential, new, loyal)**
**Product Portfolio Knowledge**
The Technical Consultant I will maintain a high level of expertise with Koppert products, Biocontrol, Integrated Pest Management, Pesticides and Pollination through in house training, colleague support, reading, webinars, etc.
**CE- Customer Engagement**
The Technical Consultant I will be accountable to enter required contact and profile information into Customer Engagement software.
**Core Competencies - General Competencies and Qualifications**
- Graduate of a Post-Secondary Institution (College or University) in a Sciences related study. Horticultural or Agriculture focus is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in related field.
- Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
- Collaboration skills for establishing positive working relationships.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
- Ability to travel by vehicle to offices, meeting locations, customer farms, attend training or management gatherings as directed. A valid Driver’s License is required.
- French Language knowledge is an asset.
**Technology Competencies**
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
- Adept at utilizing smart phone technologies; text, photo sharing, messenger groups etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM, ERP is an asset.
