The Rank Group is currently seeking a **Vice-President, Property Management**. The VP Property management would be responsible for the overall direction, and performance of a multi-faceted property management team. The role will ensure that our team is operating at a high level; and that we are executing the company’s philosophy of tenant and vendor relationships in a consistent and professional manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and providing leadership to a team of Property Managers, Chief Building Engineers, Building Operators and Administrators staff - coaching, training, and motivating to ensure Company performance standards are met.
- Overseeing and leading the annual operational and capital budgeting process for all properties.
- Ensuring the Property Management team is frequently touching base with tenants, seeking feedback on issues and/or areas of improvement.
- Ensuring the Property Management team is maintaining the properties to the standard expected by ownership.
- Providing direct oversight and approval of all major expenditures, in accordance with Company processes/policies.
- Overseeing and negotiating major portfolio level and or property level service contracts.
- Acting as the main point of contact between the leasing, construction and accounting teams for inter-departmental business activities.
- Providing guidance and oversight into property level tenant relations, property quality standards and efficiency monitoring.
- Maintaining senior level tenant relations and getting involved with, and resolving, any high level tenant issues.
- Monitoring all work-flow and administrative processes and operational performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to service standards.
- Participating in Quarterly and Annual budget reviews and associated approvals.
- Ensuring the Property Management is actively engaged in the financial performance of the property operating costs.
- Proactively identifying and leading Property enhancement initiatives.
- Conducting Property level assessments and inspections related to the overall tenant experience
- Maintaining and improving processes within the Operations group.
- Providing regular updates to ownership on the performance of the portfolio.
- Acting as a contributing member of the senior executive real-estate team.
- Other executive level duties as determined by owner.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in property management or facilities/building management.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., business).
- Experience overseeing large capital projects.
- Experience with large operating budgets.
- Confident in overall financial skills - budgeting principles, cost analyses, financial reporting, computer systems, etc.
- Strong knowledge of building and operating systems (e.g., general maintenance procedures, HVAC/electrical/mechanical systems, etc.).
- Strong business acumen.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication skills, personable and positive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- BOMA designation is considered an asset but not required.
