**Overview**

The **Warehouse Team Lead **is responsible for the effective distribution and assignment of duties to the Warehouse Operators. This includes the safe physical movement of finished goods, cartons, film and raw materials within the warehouse and production area. As a working position, the Team Lead also performs picking, checking and loading customer orders; receiving cartons, boxed resins, film and other materials and the movement of packaging and materials on and off storage racks.

**Shifts**: 12 hour Continental (7am to 7pm), straight days.

- Promote and support our **Safety First** culture to team members.
- Report any hazard or potential hazard, unsafe practices or working conditions encountered to your Supervisor and team members.
- Coordinate the daily tasks and priorities with the Warehouse Office staff to effectively delegate duties to Team Members.
- Coordinate with Carriers for pickups/deliveries.
- Ensure Team Members follow the Company policies in regards to Safety, cellphone use, break times and other daily operations.
- Assign staging locations for completed orders ready for shipment.
- Check and verify completed order documents are correct before Billing and preparing the Customs documents for “out of Canada” shipments.
- Communicate with third parties, Carriers, internal Departments, Amhil Mississauga and with other Amhil companies.
- Facilitate Inventory counts and verifications with Warehouse Inventory Coordinator.
- Check up on Team Members’ Order picking, Trailer loading/offloading and verifying their documentation compliance for the assignments.
- Fill in for Warehouse Operators as needed (Picking, checking, loading, driving forklift etc.)
- Ensuring the Production Lines are provided with their respective Feed Stock at all times and coordinating with Production Supervisor for any other requirements they may have.
- Listen to staff concerns/questions and provide solutions as required. Inform Supervisor of any serious concerns/questions or disputes that the staff may have.
- Implement instructions & tasks assigned by the Supervisor, to myself as well as by allocating the work to the Team and to oversee the work is completed as per the requirement.
- Verify that each Team Member, wears the required PPE while carrying out their duties and operate the Forklifts, in a safe manner. Report to Supervisor, of any non-compliance by any team member in this regard.
- Ensuring each Team member understands the importance of the new digitalization working and follows the proper use of computers, laptops and tablets etc., to perform their duties.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Tooling, QA, Amhil Mississauga, to move goods from one location to the other.
- Verifying all completed documentation for the Forklift Daily Inspection Sheets are in order.
- Coordinate with Team Lead from previous shift, to ensure smooth transition of work/instructions between shifts.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Forklift licence (counter-balance, reach).
- Minimum 2 years experience driving Forklift (electric).
- Organization and ability to multi-task.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (23kg).
- Familiar with Amhil products (an asset)
- Ability to understand English written and verbal instructions
